Tell us about the background of AMARA Stone & Tile Boutique and how the Dallas Design District showroom came to be.The idea and inception of Amara Stone & Tile Boutique came about in 2020 at the start of COVID-19 which gave us time to look for a condensed version of Burlington Design Gallery so that we could serve the design community and homeowners who are shopping for unique natural stone and tiles while they are also looking for other design elements for their projects.
What do you enjoy most about having a showroom in the Dallas Design District neighborhood?
We always got the question and wish from our existing and prospective customers that it would be great if Burlington Design Gallery had a location in the Design District because most of them wanted the convenience of shopping a wide variety of design products in the Dallas Design District. What we like the most about having a showroom in the Dallas Design District is that now that dream has become a reality and our customers and well-wishers really appreciate it.
What can visitors expect when they visit AMARA Stone & Tile Boutique?
The moment visitors come through the doors of Amara, they will be amazed at the eclectic use of the 8,500 square-foot space and will see a unique collection of Natural Stone tiles and slabs (including several exotic slabs from Italy, Brazil, Madagascar, etc.), as well as unique porcelain tiles and mosaics. Starting later this summer, visitors can also expect to see a Hardscape section (a project in the works at the rear section of the showroom) whereby one can select a variety of elements for their pool and backyard needs.
In your opinion, what sets AMARA apart from other local + national stone and tile showrooms?
Amara Stone & Tile Boutique is the only boutique in Dallas Design District, and in fact, in the entire country for that matter, that showcases Natural Stone and Porcelain Tiles, slabs, and mosaics all under one roof. And within a few short months will also showcase the high-end hardscape product offerings.
If you had to describe the AMARA style in one word, what would it be and why?
Unique. We offer our clients one-of-a-kind tiles and unique natural stone slabs. Our clients can use our products to create a variety of living spaces highlighting different design styles.
