The Wells Abbott Sales Manager leads relationships with designers in the Dallas area. The sales manager is experienced working with clients in a business development environment, has a professional demeanor, high energy and driven to contribute to the success of the business.
Proven sales and business development skills are essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail are needed to succeed. The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with clients, thrives as a multitasker in a fast-paced environment, prioritizes customers’ needs by listening and exceeding expectations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Demonstrated success as a sales leader in a fast-paced, active sales environment or organization with a passion for the decorative arts.
· Experience fostering client relationships and partnerships.
· Proven ability forging trust by inspiring confidence and offering exceptional service.
· Capable of analyzing and evaluating sales reporting data to develop a strategic roadmap for success.
· Innovative thinker, adaptable to change, and exhibits exceptional judgment when met with challenges.
· Self-starter with keen business development intuition and time management skills, ready to hit the ground running on day one.
· A solution-based thinker who thrives in a collaborative work environment and welcomes feedback.
· Exhibits a mastery of product knowledge, company resources, and marketing/sales programs.
· Proficient in the Microsoft suite of products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with or willingness to learn CRM and Order-Track
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Grow the existing business and develop new business, maintain showroom appearance and decor, respond to client/vendor communication and sales inquiries, help fulfill sample requests, and handle all aspects of orders from start to finish.
· Develop leads and convert to orders. Use sample requests, designer aesthetic and project information to follow up with designers.
· Maintain a full understanding of all showroom products and a continued awareness of current design trends and industry events.
· Work with the Showroom Coordinator to ensure all new product wings, samples and marketing materials are integrated into the showroom and inventory in a timely manner.
· Work with the Showroom Coordinator to maintain brand standards, showroom appearance and décor, ensuring all spaces are kept neat and tidy daily.
· Work with the Showroom Coordinator and Marketing to refresh tabletop displays and signage on a regular basis.
· Lead inventory sample management and replenishment on a regular basis.
· Prospect and develop new business. Generate leads through thoughtful, strategic, and consistent customer outreach.
· Responsible for coordinating and leading client and vendor showroom presentations and events, out of office presentations and events, and the overall client/vendor experience based on brand standards.
· Continue brand and product education and knowledge as new collections, products and designs are introduced to the marketplace via showrooms.
