Job Description

The Sales Associate number one responsibility is to maximize sales volume by growing existing business, developing new business, and providing the best possible customer service while enhancing Baker’s mission to offer the highest quality and service standards in the industry.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer Communication, Order Entry, Customer Service, Customer Development and Maintenance, and Showroom Responsibilities.

Job Requirements

Candidate will have previous high-end sales/customer experience requiring

• Effective selling skills, ability to close the sale 
• Strong time management skills
•  Must be able to cultivate assigned accounts of design and architectural firms to achieve monthly and yearly goals
• Engage in constant prospecting and plan formal presentations. 
• Marketing skills to create informative emails a must.  Quick learner of new product introductions .
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Inside- outside sales position.
• Must have strong interior design knowledge to facilitate designers in selection process when necessary

• Administrative, computer skills, and problem solver  

   

   

 

 

 

 

Basic knowledge of the history of furniture design (periods, styles, designers, etc.) is preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred.
