Job Title
Designer
Job Description
• Execute all fabric reserves, stock checks, and vendor information requests
• Create proposals, billing summaries and purchase orders
• Place reserves, approve CFA’s
• Follow-up on orders and build installation schedules with help of senior designer/Principal
• Visit vendors to check on production
• Organize pickups and deliveries
• Coordinate installation process
• Assist senior designer/Principal or Lead in sourcing of fabrics, finishes, products and materials
• Assist/Lead in maintaining project spec book
• Liaison between client and vendor
• Attend client meetings, take notes and handle follow-up
• Keep track of reimbursable expenses
• Research billing issues with senior designer/Principal and remedy them
• Execute all CAD drawings necessary on specific projects (floor plans, elevations, sections) and site surveys
• Keep all design files and notebooks organized
Job Requirements
• Interior Design degree
• Would like 2-5 years of experience, Internship qualifies, NCIDQ preferred
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Suite, SketchUp, Photoshop & Illustrator, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent presentation and people skills
• Creative and flexible in design approach
• Excellent eye for both presentation design & sourcing
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Must manage / multi-task to work on several projects at a time
• Highly organized with the ability to juggle several tasks in a fast-paced environment
