George Cameron Nash Showrooms, located in Dallas and Houston Design Centers has a vital outside sales territory opening for a motivated Sales Consultant with experience of presenting and selling luxury fabrics and wallcoverings.  

This sales position is focused on developing relationships with interior designers who purchase luxury fabrics and wallcoverings for their client's homes or businesses.

Exclusive fabric lines and wallcoverings lines at George Cameron Nash are: Elitis, Rubelli, Zimmer + Rohde, Rogers & Goffigon, Chelsea Textile, and Kerry Joyce, to name a few.

Key Duties of the position include:

·         Plan and schedule travels in outside territory

  • Present luxury fabric and wallcovering collections to new and existing customers
  • Prospect for contacts with potential customers.
  • Reach agreed upon sales targets monthly, quarterly, annually
  • Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of new fabrics and wallcovering collections
  • Develop new relationships to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Engage in on-going outreach to develop and grow the client base
  • Keep weekly records

 

If you have:

  • Minimum 5 years prior sales experience, prefer with luxury products
  • A consistent track record meeting, or exceeding sales goals
  • Understand the importance of customer prospecting and cultivating relationships to develop repeat clients.  
  • Experience in customer service or retail sales where you are the main reason your clients keep coming back
  • Problem-solving, leadership, and listening skills
  • Organizational and time management skills

Job details

  • Base salary
  • Commission eligible sales
  • Fulltime-Monday thru Friday
  • Work Location: On the road and in the showroom
  • Travel expenses paid

  • Medical Insurance, company pays 2/3rds of cost;

  • Paid Time Off (12 days annually PTO earned on an accrual basis)
  • Paid holidays 8.5, plus paid work days closed between Christmas and New Year’s Day

Experience:

  • Sales Experience: 5 years (Preferred)
  • Merchandising: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Customer service 3 years (Preferred)
  • Interior design: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification: Driver's License
