Burlington Design Gallery is seeking a Design Gallery Representative to join our team at our Amara Stone & Tile Boutique location.

The Design Sales Representative will be responsible for helping clients in selecting the best products for their projects. In addition to that he/she needs to maintain a clean showroom at all times.

This position is for someone who is able to multitask and gather information for quotes and sales orders in a timely manner. Knowledge for hard surfaces is key to giving the client all information needed to accomplish their vision and make an informed decision.

​Duties

●        Greet and assist clients with selection of stone & tile for their projects

●        Create a relationship with clients

●        Provide the highest level of customer service

●        Making sales calls to prospects and existing customers

●        Maintain a neat and organized workspace

●        Prepare quotes, and follow up on  leads and potential opportunities

●        Work cooperatively in team environment

●        Gain knowledge of all current and new product lines

●        Be constantly aware of all new products offered by our vendors

●        Multitask and prioritize work through effective time management

●        Team player: able to work in a collaborative environment

Minimum Qualifications

●        Interior design experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

●        1-2 years of retail sales or customer service experience

●        Proven established relationships with designers and builders is required

●        Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus

●        Excellent understanding of design and color

●        Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

●        Friendly and outgoing personality

●        Polished appearance

●        Excellent Computer skills

●        Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

●        Self-motivated and proactive-willing to take the extra step!
