Samuel Lynne Galleries announces Tyler Shields: Visionary, a new exhibition by acclaimed contemporary photographer and filmmaker Tyler Shields, opening Saturday, September 13, from 6–9 pm at the gallery’s Dallas location, 1105 Dragon Street. The exhibition spotlights Shields’ cinematic, high-voltage imagery and will feature selections from celebrated series alongside recent works. 

Widely recognized for a bold visual language that interrogates power, glamour, and the spectacle of contemporary culture, Shields’ photographs are known for their precise production and provocative narrative edge. Shields he has been described by Sotheby’s as “the Andy Warhol of his generation,” and we are excited to welcome this visionary back to the gallery!
