Bogdan Perzyński: Exhibition Opening & Artist Talk

An Evening of Contemporary Art, Conversation & Cocktails

Location: Liliana Bloch Gallery

Join Liliana Bloch Gallery on Saturday, November 7, for an artist talk and opening reception celebrating a new solo exhibition by contemporary artist Bogdan Perzyński.

Featuring more than 50 intricate pencil drawings of drones, rockets, and a satellite associated with ongoing conflicts in Ukraine, Russia, and the Middle East, alongside a new video animation, the exhibition explores the relationship between art, technology, and contemporary conflict.

Drawing on his decades-long practice in video, performance, and computational media, Perzyński turns to the traditional medium of pencil drawing to examine the instruments of modern warfare. The exhibition contrasts the speed and sophistication of contemporary technology with the deliberate, time-intensive act of drawing.

Guests are invited to hear directly from the artist before exploring the exhibition and enjoying craft cocktails by mixologist Anya Schmieder.
