Interior Designer Open Position
Chambers Interiors & Associates is one of Dallas’ leading residential interior design firms. Margaret Chambers personally oversees all design projects, working closely with clients from start to finish and relying on a hand-selected team to serve clients with precision, professionalism, and friendliness. The firm has been a D Home Best Designers award winner for 20 years, having won dozens of state and national awards from the American Society of Interior Designers.
Chambers Interiors brings each client a fresh new look to their homes by crafting a design that is uniquely theirs. The firm designs rooms full of character by incorporating handmade cultural art and accessories that complement a wide range of styles, bringing interest to a home.
Chambers Interiors is seeking a new Interior Designer, a pivotal role for the firm and a great opportunity to work in a dynamic interior design environment.
Qualifications include:
· Project Management - Manages projects, reviews purchasing with the manager, and coordinates with the office manager to ensure timely delivery and billing.
· Materials Management - Orders, tracks, inventories, and professionally manages clients’ merchandise.
· Site Installations - Reviews installation checklist, preps for installation, and sets up delivery dates with client.
· Technical Job Skills - Displays good working knowledge of technical tools: AutoCAD, Houzz Pro/Ivy, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook). Take the initiative to learn new technologies, such as AI, and suggest ways to improve efficiency with the tools.
· Design Job Skills - Demonstrates good quality of work, including management of client lists, letters of agreement, and design and presentation documents.
· Client Communication - Manages in-person and email communication professionally with clients and vendors and responds in a timely manner.
· Marketing and Business Promotion – Forward photography, comments, and marketing content to marketing staff weekly for online promotion of the business.

More About You
· Experience with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), SketchUp, and Microsoft Office Suite
· 3+ years of experience in a similar interior design role
· Knowledge of trade vendors and Dallas Design District showrooms
· Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design
· Full-time, onsite, Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
· Driver’s License (Required)
