The Long Journey Home is Christi Meril's new solo show, and opening night is the first time it is seen in public. We would love you there.
It is a show about everything we carry back with us and choose to keep. Memory. Dreams. The people who shape us. The quiet work of finding your way home to yourself. Christi has spent years on the move, through Northern California, the Rockies, Santa Fe and New York, and this is what she brought home to Dallas.
The work is made from the places she has been. Charcoal from a single campfire at Ghost Ranch in Santa Fe. Old-growth redwood from the California coast. Paper cut, sewn and cast by hand. Grounded, calm and warm.
What to expect
Come early and take your time. Meet Christi in the room where the work was made. Every piece is available to collect, and we are happy to talk you through any of them. Opening night is relaxed, warm and yours to wander.
