Arsin Rug Gallery recently announced the members of their first-ever design council. True to form for the forward-thinking gallery, this diverse design council will expand clients’ understanding of fine rugs and curate creative, polished spaces. This inaugural council is comprised of some of Dallas’ most talented and experienced design professionals. Here is a complete rundown of the design pros who will serve on the council for the next two years.
The Iconic Sherry Hayslip
An entrepreneur, designer, writer, and curator, Sherry has a distinctive style that merges beautiful design with elements of surprise and spontaneity. The seasoned designer has won multiple awards for her work with celebrities, art dealers, and sports team owners, and she expertly designed interiors that can be found in Sonoma, Cape Cod, Mexico, the Caribbean island, and beyond.
Her company offers one-of-a-kind home furnishings, decorative accessories, jewelry, gifts and objects d’art. Perhaps most importantly, Sherry brings a careful, precise eye to all of her work.
Legends Russ Peters & Bill Cates
“It’s important to educate a client that fine rugs are an investment that will last a lifetime,” Russ Peters says. Since 2001, he and Bill Cates have been enhancing their clients’ lives with innovative design solutions. These two Dallas icons create tailor-made spaces, with a specialization on design + build + furnishes.
Award-Winning Chad Dorsey
Trained as an architect, Chad Dorsey has been creating refined interiors for more than two decades. His “relaxed luxury” is marked by a quiet palette, handcrafted details, and a fluid relationship to the surrounding architecture. Whether designing an island vacation home in the Pacific Northwest or a rural retreat in the California Central Valley, Chad brings subtle, relaxed luxury to every project.
Adaptive Design Expert Shelly Rosenberg
In addition to 20 years of experience. Shelly brings a keen eye for sustainability to each of her interiors. She has built her career in design on the premise of “living well”, an ideology that. for her, means improving her clients’ quality of life. She does this by composing supportive and adaptive environments that help foster mental, emotional, and physical well-being, and accelerate growth, awareness, and human progress.
Creative Powerhouse Chelsea Hargrave
As the owner of the highly respected Dallas firm Chelsea Hargrave Interiors, this experienced pro brings superior quality, style, and a client-centered approach to every phase of the interior design process. “I’m excited to be a part of the Arsin Rug Gallery Council,” she says, “and to be amongst so many talented designers and have an array of beautiful rugs to choose from.”
