Best known for their sophisticated mix of old + new, Acquisitions Interiors is one of those one-stop shops that truly has something for everyone. Their Dallas showroom, now open on Hi Line Drive, marks their fourth location nationwide and we couldn't be happier that they chose the DDD as their next home. Read on to get acquainted with the Acquisitions team + their amazing assortment of inventory.
We opened our first store in the 1980s in Charleston, South Carolina – Dallas is our 4th location. Our two other showrooms are located in Atlanta, Georgia and Charlotte, North Carolina. We pride ourselves on being a family run business. The owners are a husband + wife team, Molly and Steve Hope, and they are based out of Charleston. Eleni Evans, who runs our Dallas store, previously ran the Atlanta store for about 5 years. But as luck would have it, her fiancé at the time (now husband!) got a job opportunity in Dallas last fall. After getting engaged, she and the owners sat down and talked through the possibility of a Dallas ACQ. Steve & Molly had never been to Dallas but were on a flight just a month later. On this quick trip to the Big D, they spotted a perfect location on Hi Line Drive and the rest is history! We've now been open for a month and couldn't be happier to be here!!
We are known for our sophisticated casual mix of old and new. You'll find an immense inventory available off the floor which includes European antiques, a custom line of Italian reproductions and upholstery manufactured in North Carolina. Plus, lighting and lots of fabulous accessories. We are open to the public and trade.
Our mix. We help show the customer that brown isn't a bad thing. We don't consider ourselves to be too trendy or too traditional. By blending an antique with a cool acrylic lamp, we keep things classic but relevant. There truly is something here for everyone.
If you had to describe Acquisitions Interiors style in one word, what would it be and why?
Timeless. We are proof that if you invest in classic, traditional statement pieces and then add pops of now (lamps, accent tables, accessories, etc,), you won't have to change much over the years.
