Seeking Part-Time Design Work

Hi, I'm Kayli Henry!

It doesn't look like I can actually upload a resume onto here so here is a quick little pitch of myself:

I got my BFA in Interior Design from O'More College of Design through Belmont University in Nashville, TN. I've been in the design feild since 2020 (plus a previous internship in 2018) doing work primarily in Tennessee and Texas, but also a bit in Arkansas, New Mexico, and the Caymen Islands. I started out as a 15-30 hour intern my last couple years of school, after graduation I went to work full time at a firm in Dallas. Unfortunatly, that firm had a bit of a revolving door. Once I found out why, I started freelancing with Lindsey Murrillo Interiors and then Duckworth Interiors. When Duckworth Interiors closed their doors in 2023 I went on my own and opened Dwell Studio Designs. As much as I love the flexibilty of me being my own boss, I also miss going into the office and being part of a team. That said, both me and my husband view my role in homemaking as my primary job in this season and I am only looking to work part time - prefferably 3 days a weeks. I have learned to be very efficiant with my time and belive I would be a strong assest to any team even only working reduced hours.

Having worked in the feild for 4 years and running my own business for the past year I have all the skills needed for most any interior design job, along with being profecient in multiple CAD programs (ChiefArchitect, Revit, AutoCAD) and old school drafting and rendering techniques. My current area of specialty is remodels and new builds, working directly with both contractors and home owners.
