Professional Summary

Experience in sales, architectural layouts, and product development in the high-end home furniture industry. Ability to understand the customer's needs to create architectural spaces that are not only functional but also efficient and aesthetical.

My expertise is extensive and includes, but is not limited to, the development of custom-made products using different materials such as laminated glass, aluminum profiles, engineered wood, and a variety of hardware and fitting systems sourced from European vendors to provide a high-quality finished product.

During my professional career, I also spearheaded the specification processes of large-scale projects for various builders in Colombia in which the challenge was finding the right balance between design and standardization, to optimize production and installation processes to fit the project's deadline and stay below budget. By working with European brands such as Nobilia, a basic standard design would also give the end user the ability to upgrade the furniture and achieve a unique outlook. As the project manager, I oversaw these customization processes.

Moreover, my skills as an Industrial Designer with more than 18 years of experience in the furniture industry allowed me to be the design director of a builder's project in which every apartment unit had an exclusive Italian Valcucine kitchen design. This experience allowed me to be not only the designer but also gave me a management role in which I would audit the purchase order process and review proformas to ensure that each release was accurate toward the architectural layout, customer's needs, material specifications, installation assembly, and price.

My background includes a creative and analytical approach, starting with the design concept and ending with the installation verification and after-sales inquiries.
