Sculpture Marathon — a 5 week intensive crash course in figurative sculpture. Our teaching team held weekly meetings to determined how best to deliver the course material to each student.
RISD Project Open Door — working to provide accessible art education to the urban youth of Rhode Island. Helped to bridge the gap between the historically elitist art world and the real world. Used skills in communication and listening to mentor and support diverse students in their study and development in personal expression.
Soft Goods — teaching students to lay out patterns, and working with them to develop their order of operations in making soft goods. Providing tech and presentation support for faculty working in a socially distanced scenario.
Shop Monitor
September 2019 - June 2021
Head shop monitor in the RISD Industrial Design wood and metal shops. Scheduling/managing the other monitors as well as assisting students in safely operating the machinery. Developed protocol with faculty for socially distanced shop operation.

June 2019 - August 2019
Taught, advised, and mentored students from ages 8-20 in creating various projects out of wood. Projects ranged from jet skis to small toys. Guided over 30 independent student projects on any given day and assisted students in setting clear plans for project completion.
