POSITION: SHOWROOM SALES ASSOCIATE
REPORTS TO: SHOWROOM MANAGER
Description: Kravet Inc., established in 1918, is the industry leader in the to the trade home furnishings industry. Our fifth generation family business distributes fabrics, furniture, wall coverings, trimmings, carpets and accessories. We are growing and seeking a talented, energetic, and passionate professional to join our dynamic Dallas team. The Showroom Sales Associate will be responsible for selling all product categories across all of our brands including Kravet, Lee Jofa and Brunschwig & Fils, inside the Dallas showroom. As a part of the inside sales team, this person will reinforce brand positioning within the marketplace and provide key services for accounts within the Dallas territory.
Responsibilities:
Generate sales of all product categories to help achieve the overall sales goal
Keep showroom and partnership accounts up-to-date on new product and offerings through targeted mailings, telephone calls, emails, etc.
New account generation
Place and follow up on customer order
Present product in a professional, compelling, and inspiration manner
Provide the best possible customer service while enhancing the Kravet mission to offer the highest quality product and service standards in the luxury market. Consistently seek to expand your working knowledge of interior design and current Kravet, Lee Jofa and Brunschwig & Fils collections.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree, Interior Design or equivalent experience
Sales experience in A&D Industry or related field
Experience selling high-end fabrics and trimming for luxury brands
Experience in selling custom products for home design (e.g. furniture, carpet, bedding, lighting..)
Proven ability to set and achieve sales goals through active collaboration and ability to influence the sale.
Experience in managing multiple accounts and building trusting and mutually successful client relationships.
Demonstrated ability to think creatively in order to build account level sales as well as strategically develop new business in a rapidly changing environment.
Competitive drive and entrepreneurial mindset in order to expand client base and grow existing accounts.
Able to multitask and managing multiple deadlines/projects
Positive can-do attitude and willingness to roll up your sleeves and take on any task to keep the wheels moving
Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about luxury interior design industry.
Exceptional organizational and follow-through skills.
High level of ownership, accountability and initiative.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Physically fit in order to perform the manual elements of the job (standing for periods of time working a selling floor, bagging, boxing samples for presentations, lifting heavy bags of sampling, etc)

Passion for design and business development
Proficiency in MS Windows and Google Office suite.
Ability to identify growth opportunities including high potential customers and new accounts
