Apex Supply Company is a family-owned, third-generation plumbing supply company with 12 locations in North Texas. The Showroom Sales Associate will work at the Richardson branch located at 600 E. Arapaho Richardson, TX 75081. Regular hours are M-F from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and alternating Saturdays from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

This job description is subject to change dependent on the needs of the company.

·         Work with customers or their representatives (designers, contractors, etc.)  in choosing plumbing fixtures and related items for kitchens, baths and recreational areas

·         Provide expert product selection assistance

·         Use strong consultative skills and interpersonal skills to complete a sale

·         Develop long-term relationships with industry customers

·         Process and track orders and maintain excellent communication with all contacts

·         Routine correspondence with clients in a prompt and professional manner

·         Perform routine showroom appearance maintenance

·         Other tasks as assigned

 

Qualifications

·         High school diploma

·         Minimum 2 years in similar position preferred

·         Minimum 1 year in progressive sales or design position

·         Plumbing kitchen and bath product/applications experience preferred

·         Wholesale distribution experience preferred

·         Showroom guest interaction, personable and customer focused

·         High degree of attention to detail

·         Strong time management and organizational skills

·         Proficient Microsoft Office knowledge and skills

·         Spanish speaker is preferred but not required
