Showroom Assistant

RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Service

  • Answer phones and greet clients with a friendly approach. Always welcome guests into our store and offer refreshments upon them entering the space.

  • Attend and assist in showroom event preparation, implementation and breakdown

  • Schedule and assist staff as needed with outside & inside presentations

  • Assist Showroom Manager & Design Associates as needed with clients

  • Fill in when Design Associates are out of the office and when necessary

Sampling & Supplies

  • Order showroom samples and unload samples from boxes to put away in drawers, bins and/or spinners in a timely manner

  • Order & maintain all Artistic Tile supplies for showroom. ie: bags, graph paper, pencils, etc.

  • Provide list of showroom supplies to replenish monthly

  • Track and follow up on all showroom samples lent out so they are returned to the showroom

Showroom Organization

  • Keep showroom drawers updated and neat with samples and sample boards in the bins. Tidy showroom at end of each day. All samples must be put away, unless otherwise stated by manager or staff

  • Merchandise products upon arrival of new collections and samples

Operations

  • Review daily cash receipt report and distribute paid transactions to the appropriate salesperson

  • Package and ship samples to clients via UPS, messenger service or personal drop off

  • Follow up phone calls and emails on pending quotes

  • Follow up phone calls and emails on projects that are out to bid to learn who to contact with the quote

  • Coordinate all projects out to bid for all Architectural Sales staff in a document that is updated weekly with progress

  • Research firms for Design Associates & Architectural Sales staff to bring the proper products for visits or outreach calls

  • Assist in entering or updating quotes as needed for Design Associates and Architectural Sales staff

  • Package and ship samples to clients via UPS, messenger service or personal drop off

  • Write Thank you notes for clients whose orders have been invoiced
