Elegant Additions, a decorative plumbing and hardware showroom with locations in Houston and Dallas, is looking to fill a brand new role to coordinate our out-of-town project deliveries. This new position, Out of Town Project Logistical Coordinator, may be done in either Houston or Dallas, based on the location of the selected candidate. 

This role is responsible for coordinating all aspects of our out-of-town projects .As the liaison between Elegant Additions and our clients, the Logistics and Client Services Coordinator will provide project management leadership for our out-of-town projects.

Job duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Coordinate all out-of-town projects (outside the immediate Houston and Dallas metro areas) served by our  Houston and Dallas showrooms

  • Participate in new project “wrap” meetings

  • Coordinate with our “in house” purchasing department; own responsibility for project receiving, auditing, order pulling, packing, picking, and invoicing

  • Set-up and coordinate delivery logistics

  • Arrange with clients for deliveries of products including client notifications with tracking information as well as instructing clients on the steps to be taken to inspect the deliveries to verify products received complete and damage-free

  • Coordinate product replacements, returns and replacements, as needed

  • Works with our vendors and clients for all drop ship orders and deliveries

  • Coordinate activity across Sales, Warehouse, and Purchasing for all applicable orders

  • Maintain contact with project point of contact for duration of project

  • Clearly demonstrate ability to take ownership of assigned tasks

  • Possess the desire to take on additional responsibility and have a desire to grow professionally  

  • Be reliable, have consistent follow through and come to work every day on time 


Required skillset for this position includes:

  • Background in shipping / receiving / logistics

  • Proven customer service experience with a strong focus on handling customer issues and managing projects

  • Excellent computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office 365, Teams and SharePoint

  • Attention to details on everything

  • Ability to solve problems, both immediate and long-term issues

  • Proven ability to work with and support others

  • Self-starter with high level of initiative

  • Professional and strong communication skills - including verbal, written, virtual, as well as proficiency utilizing Micro Soft Office products, specifically Excel and Word. 

This position is highly detailed oriented and will support our sales teams with out-of-town orders originating in Houston and Dallas. This position will work closely with Houston and Dallas warehouse associates and our purchasing department.  An Associate’s Degree is preferred. This is a full -time hourly position with benefits.
