Our ideal person is detail-oriented and enthusiastic. They know how to organize their time and are task-oriented. Our candidate is computer literate and knows Microsoft Office well and is considered an Excel expert. We also use iPads for order entry, so some IOS knowledge is required. We would love you to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be ready to take on whatever is thrown your way. Background in the back office of a retailer, wholesaler, or manufacturer would be a plus.

Taylors, at the Dallas Market Center, is looking for a full-time Back Office Assistant AND a Sales Assistant (2 separate jobs!)

  • Processing all paperwork accurately (Orders, Quotes, Payments, Deposits, etc.)
  • A/P
  • reconciliation of daily sales
  • Managing Product Inventory
  • Excellent communication skills (written and telephone), with professional interior designers and our vendors

Taylors benefits are available at 60 days which include health insurance fully paid by Taylors

About 9 paid holidays per year after 60 days

  • New Year’s Day Good Friday Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Thanksgiving Day Friday after Thanksgiving Christmas Eve Christmas Day

Market Dates for 2022 – these include weekends and hours from 7:30 to close at 6 -7 pm for at least 4 of the days. No PTO for these dates

  • January 5-11, 2022
  • June 22-28, 2022

We have inside and outside sales people and represent some of the finest lines in home décor, including Visual Comfort. We represent great vendors in a great atmosphere where there is never a dull moment!
