Location: 9250 Meadowbrook Drive, Dallas, TX 75220
This year, the Kips Bay Decorator Show House Dallas will feature twenty-four of the country’s most celebrated designers and architects, who will use their design talent and passion to transform 9250 Meadowbrook Drive in Old Preston Hollow’s Sunnybrook Estates neighborhood. The Show House will be open to the public for one month beginning Friday, September 23, 2022. The Show House doubles as the nation’s leading design event of the year and Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club’s top fundraiser.
“The distinguished designers and architects working on this year's Decorator Show House in Dallas are highly admired within the community and we always look forward to seeing how they work together to transform the estate”, says James Druckman, President of the Board of the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club. “We’re thrilled to continue this tradition of raising funds to support the youth we serve throughout the Bronx.”
“We couldn’t be more excited to announce the designers and architects working on the 2022 Kips Bay Decorator Show House Dallas,” said Daniel Quintero, the Executive Director of the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club. “Every show house is a new opportunity to raise funds and awareness for the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club and we’re excited to kickoff this show house season”.
For nearly half a century, top interior designers have come together to raise more than $25 million for the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club of New York, which provides young people with educational and developmental programs in the city. The Kips Bay Decorator Show House Dallas co-chairs are Jean Liu, Chad Dorsey, and Jan Showers; Laura Falconer and Trish Sheats serve as vice chairs. Jamie Drake and Veranda Editor in Chief Steele Marcoux are honorary chairs.
The Kips Bay Decorator Show House Dallas will benefit two local charities: Dwell with Dignity, a nonprofit agency dedicated to creating soothing, inspiring homes for families struggling with homelessness and poverty, and The Crystal Charity Ball, another Dallas-based organization whose mission is to aid, support and make contributions to children's charities in Dallas County.
Please let us know if you’d like to walk through the house during Press Days, where media will get a sneak peek of the house and chat one-on-one with the designers about their spaces. We will be setting up appointments on Tuesday, September 20 and Wednesday, September 21, 2022.
