Annette Becker, Director of the Texas Fashion Collection at the University of North Texas, will define the term "couture" as it relates to the world of high fashion, and explore the history of haute couture, She will delve into twentieth-century changes in the world of French high fashion, and detail how to determine whether a garment is couture.
