Part Gallery, office and beauty salon- the EightO1 is a true collaborative space located at the edge of the Design District.

Orbedonna is the collaboration of Kathy Smith and Luis Luna. Both artists often work within one painting to produce the final vision. Their diverse portfolio of acrylic, mixed media paintings and function art include etheral abstracts, organic impressions with an emphasis on texture, and color layers. 

Come meet the artists and get to experience Kathy and Luis's painting style in person! 

Orbedonna has been featured in the Color Book by Moll Anderson and Peacock Alley Catalogue.

Orbedonna is also display at Bee Street Studio, Mecox (Dallas, LA, NYC, Napa, Southhampton, High Point, Houston, and Palm Beach), and the Ritz Carlton.

Event is open to the public. Light bites and drinks will be provided.

Luis Luna creates ethereal abstracts that have layers of depth as well as textural visions using natural materials. His creations are inspired by his love for music. Luis designs and builds the framing that accompanies the art and that often becomes indistinguishable from the art.

Kathy Smith began her artistic explorations as a child inspired by her aunts who were artists. She received a bachelor of fine arts from SMU and worked as an interior designer and art consultant. Upon engaging once again with artistic expression, she has created abstract and expressionistic art with an emphasis on color and texture.
