We are excited to announce that the 2nd Annual Design and Drive Car Show & Social will take place on Saturday, October 24th from 9:30 am – 1:00 pm!
Design & Drive brings together an impressive collection of beautiful automobiles, car enthusiasts, and individuals who share an appreciation for exceptional design, craftsmanship, and lifestyle.
We encourage all Decorative Center tenants to take advantage of this opportunity to showcase your businesses and welcome visitors into your showrooms! Some showrooms are planning to offer coffee, cookies, or other refreshments.
The event is completely FREE.
We will have coffee vendors and multiple food trucks – all at no cost to you! We also will have a live band, lifestyle participants/vendors, Operation Kindness, places to sit, and water for the thirsty.

Parking & Delivery Information:
To help ensure a smooth and enjoyable event for everyone, we kindly ask for your cooperation with the following:
Employee Parking: Employees arriving before 9:30 AM are asked to park in the last few parking spaces adjacent to the vacant showroom or utilize available street parking along Slocum Street.
Deliveries: We ask that any deliveries scheduled during the event be directed through Oak Lawn to avoid disrupting event activities.
This event includes the following parking restrictions: Please instruct all employees that arrive before 9:00 am to park in the far back of the parking lot near the empty showroom and any employees that arrive between 9:30 am – 1:00 pm to park along the street parking on Slocum and Hi Line Drive. Also, please instruct all deliveries that arrive between 9:30 am – 1:00 pm to be delivered via the Oak Lawn street entrance.
Amplified Sound Impacts
This event includes an outdoor band that will have amplified sound. Outdoor amplified sound is approved to start at 10:00 a.m. with a 5-minute sound check at 9:45 a.m. Call 911 with any complaint. There is a DPD officer on site that will be contacted to reduce the sound volume and/or turn it down.
