The Loop Opens The Hi Line Connector in the DDD

Announcing the opening of the Hi-Line Connector in the DDD!

This one-mile urban trail, part of The Loop Dallas, establishes a direct link between the Katy Trail and the Trinity Strand Trail, seamlessly integrating into our vibrant neighborhood.

With almost 2 million visits to the Katy Trail last year, this connector provides a convenient route for visitors to travel effortlessly from Uptown to Victory Park, the Design District, and beyond. Noteworthy features include the city’s first mid-intersection crossing at Oak Lawn Avenue and Hi Line Drive, enhancing safety and accessibility.

Philip Hiatt Haigh, Executive Director of The Loop Dallas, emphasizes, "Our biggest priority once the trails are open is to make sure they are safe and accessible. And that means we want activity on them." The Hi-Line Connector is a significant step forward for connectivity, promoting both safety and engagement on these urban trails.
