Do you wish there were pub crawls geared toward design as well as drinks? If you're a member of the trade or an attendee at this year's Dallas Total Home & Gift Market, the Dallas Design District is hosting an event that might be more your style.
The first-ever Dallas Shop Crawl, a shopping event coinciding with the Dallas Home Market, will take place Friday, June 24 and Saturday, June 25. Every showroom listed below will host an event and offer a special promotion for the weekend.
The best part? You can indulge as much as you'd like, thanks to the complimentary shuttle service running from the World Trade Center to participating Design District showrooms from 10AM to 7PM both days of the event.
Here's an overview of the weekend's events so you'll know what to expect at each venue.
Friday-Only Events
9AM–5PM: Wine and hors d'oeuvres at Adriana Hoyos
This contemporary designer furniture showroom is known for its iconic, vibrant designs and will be offering a special promotion sale in addition to appetizers throughout the day.
10AM–12PM: Mimosas and breakfast quiche at GR Home Furnishings
With private label markdowns, this showroom is the perfect place to find boutique fine furniture imports for a great value. Enjoy a mimosa as you nibble on a breakfast quiche and check out the rotating art show.
11:30AM–2:30PM: Lunch at Janus Et Cie
If you're designing more than just interiors, Janus Et Cie offers beautiful patio furniture and textiles in addition to their interior collection. They're also hosting a sample sale in addition to serving some tasty lunch items.
12–2PM: Live painting and lunch bites at Pettigrew
Can't decide between traditional, transitional or contemporary furniture? Pettigrew offers a wide range of luxury furnishings and lighting styles. Visit them for the opportunity to watch Brazilian guest artist Israel Madeira create a work of art in person! Pettigrew will also be offering raffle prizes every 30 minutes.
2–4PM: Ice cream social at McGannon Showrooms
You'll probably be getting a bit toasty by this time of day, so take an ice cream break at McGannon Showrooms. Once you feel refreshed, peruse the sample sale and enter the raffle for your chance to win a piece of furniture or an accessory.
5–7PM: Live guitar and cocktails at TimberBlindMetroShade
Didn't get your fill of wine this afternoon? TimberBlindMetroShade is hosting a wine basket gift giveaway, so you can put up your feet and finish the evening at home. From wood and woven to sheer and Roman, here you'll find just the window covering you've been searching for.
Friday and Saturday Events
9AM–5PM: Wine and hors d'oeuvres at Bernadette Schaeffler
Stop by Bernadette Schaeffler's luxury home decor warehouse for accessories, fine arts, furnishings and Italian leather sofas. Enjoy a bite to eat while you check out their special floor sample sale.
9AM–5PM: Wine and bites at Ornare

9AM–5PM: Light bites and refreshments at Pohlenz Valcucine
For a modern design resource for kitchens, baths, furniture, interior doors, closet systems, staircases and more, stop by Pohlenz Valcucine. The showroom represents Valcucine, Rimdadesio, Agape and other Italian collections.
9AM–6PM: Wine and cheese at Marge Carson
Enjoy wine and cheese while you shop elegant furnishings at Marge Carson's sample sale! Certain floor samples for bedroom, dining room and living room will be offered at up to 70 percent off retail pricing, so this is one exclusive sale you won't want to miss.
9AM–7 PM: Drinks and hors d'oeuvres at Empressive GeoDesigns
Empressive GeoDesigns offers tables, lamps and bowls made of a stunning combination of geodes, crystals, minerals and semi-precious stones that make high-quality, functional décor. Their special promotion is certainly worth looking forward to: mineral gift bag party favors.
1–5 PM: Margaritas at Scott + Cooner
Market specials and new introductions by Walter Knoll await you at Scott + Cooner. Owners Lloyd Scott and Josy Cooner Collins travel extensively to Europe to visit the major furniture fairs, discover new lines and designers and bring the international inspiration back to the Dallas Design District.
3–5PM: Drinks and bites at Holly Hunt
In the market for both style and quality? Holly Hunt can show you custom luxury home furnishings designed, produced and showcased in-house. Visit the showroom for a quick bite and some inspiration for the design on your mind.
5–7PM: Wine and cheese at Pohlenz Valcucine
If you didn't make it over to Pohlenz Valcucine earlier in the day, now is the time to wind down with some wine and cheese and check out the sleek kitchen designs and outdoor space inspiration.
Saturday-Only Events
9–11AM: Breakfast treats at McGannon Showrooms
Start your Saturday off right and get lucky at a breakfast-time raffle. McGannon Showrooms will share their traditional and transitional designs through furniture, art, accessories and lighting and offer market specials throughout the event.
12–2PM: Lunch by Zoe’s at Porcelanosa
This might be the most enticing special offer of the weekend: Porcelanosa is hosting a raffle for a $500 gift certificate. With kitchen and bath designs as well as tile and hardwood options, there's certainly plenty to choose from here.
12–3PM: Community Brewery with Rodeo Goat lunch at Brendan Bass
Take a lunch break among the reclaimed artifacts and architectural elements at Brendan Bass. You'll find antiques, a large selection of upholstery, transitional lighting, garden decor and artisanal rugs. You'll also get a chance to enjoy Rodeo Goat's one-of-a-kind burger selections. Wash your meal down with a cold local beer from Community Beer Co.
