Holly Johnson Gallery ' Holly Johnson Gallery is hosting Geoff Hippenstiel for his Dallas solo debut with an opening on February 22 from 6 to 8 pm. Hippenstiel is a painter first and foremost whose paintings exhibit a powerful engagement with texture. While his works appear to have no basis in reality, the abstract paintings are loosely based on photographs of people, landscapes and well-known artworks adding an interesting element of complexity to the lush paintings. The show will run through May 10 at Holly Johnson Gallery.

Mary Tomás Gallery Over at the always welcoming Mary Tomás Gallery  visitors have the opportunity see the work of two well-known Santa Fe artists. Husband-wife duo Blair Vaughn-Gruler and Ernst Guler will showcase their newest works in oil, mixed media and sculpture with found materials. The show opens with a reception on February 22 from 6-9pm and closes March 29.

Sun to Moon Gallery Photography more your thing? Head to Marilyn Miller's Sun to Moon Gallery for the work of Jeffrey Conley. Conley works with a Hasselblad film camera to document and illustrate his love for the natural world. Conley will be in attendance for an opening reception on February 22 and his work will be on display until March 29.

Conduit Gallery At Conduit Gallery art lovers have the opportunity to see the work of three different and fascinating artists. Annabel Daou's text based drawings are exhibited as scrolls, prompting viewers to consider history, life and culture while Maja Ruznic's works examine memory and its influence on our reality. Finally Marcelyn McNeil's large scale paintings are created through a unique process from which sculptural forms emerge. Join the gallery for an opening reception on the 22nd from 6pm to 8pm and view the work on display through March 29.
