The Design District Market rolled into our neighborhood last fall, is returning this winter with a Valentines Day-inspired affair. The Valentine’s Design District Market and the Piazza Valentina will take place on from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on February 9 at 960 Dragon Street.
The market will transform an unused parking lot into a vibrant “piazza” that you would see on the old streets of European cities. It will have bistro seating, wait service, and street performers dotting the parking lot in addition to the marketplace. The idea is to create a romantic setting to get people in the mood for Valentine’s Day.
Since the weather in February can be unpredictable, organizers are preparing for two scenarios: indoor and outdoor marketplaces.
