Decorative styles from around the globe have surged in popularity in recent years thanks to our unprecedented access to an international selection of furniture, art and accessories in our globalized world. Art of Old India's 40 years in Dallas makes it clear however, that our love of the lavish Indian decorative style has been pretty consistent for quite some time. Pankaj Dalal opened the Art of Old India in Dallas in 1974, long before the internet made shopping a commodity. The store is known amongst those in the know for its collection of furniture, rugs and antiques. The gallery's space in the Dallas Design District on Dragon Street is celebrating its 40 year anniversary this year and to commemorate they will unveil new collections throughout the year.
