The Design District has some pretty incredible restaurants, a fact we have unashamedly boasted about in countless blog posts over the last few years. All the same, sometimes its good to get a few feet outside the neighborhood and see what some nearby destinations have to offer as well. One such spot is SĒR Steak + Spirits, the still relatively new bar and restaurant which resides in the former Nana space atop the Hilton Anatole. After riding the elevator up to the 27th floor of the storied hotel, diners at the 'modern steakhouse' are treated to panoramic views of downtown Dallas, seriously, this restaurant has to have the best views of any in the city. Not to be outdone however, Chef Anthony Van Camp's cuisine rivals the view for the diner's attention. Features include aged ribeye, market-fresh seafood and starters such as Hamachi crudo. Just want to grab a few drinks? The bar is managed by Tamsin Gray and features signature cocktails and an extensive wine list.
