Part Time Administrative Assistant, J. Robert Scott
The J. Robert Scott showroom is now hiring a part-time administrative assistant. The position requires a high-level of attention to details with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Expediting and order follow-up is basic to the job, including back-up sales support and knowledge of terms relevant to the design industry. It is necessary to be experienced in Microsoft Outlook and Excel. This is an effective solution for a candidate interested in flexible hours.

Showroom Sales Manager, Adriana Hoyos
Responsible for all aspects of our showroom performance including sales results, margins and expenses, the Showroom Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships in-store and outside with designers, architects, developers, builders and end users by developing trade relationships through local market, and building a repeat customer base. The Showroom Sales Manager will direct and supervise all efforts of inside/ outside sales and customer service.
- Management of sales efforts and customer service efforts
- Continuously involvement with the design trade community to promote sales and brand
- Train and develop associates to foster the same attitude
- Ensure that all quotes generated by direct reports are being followed up on
- Focus on excellence in customer service. Create raving fans.
- Cultivate a culture of rising up above ones circumstance to achieve their goals.
- Directly manage major and critical developing client accounts, and coordinate the management of all other accounts.
- Showroom open houses and events
- Personnel Development
- Inspire, motivate and encourage entire team
- Actively recruit “A Players” and develops future “A Player” employees.
- Conduct Monthly Performance Reviews to evaluate direct reports performance with a focus on company goals and objectives; and their ability to meet and exceed sales forecasts and profit margins.
- Success stories and good ideas are communicated throughout the company
- Manage the showroom sales growth and profitability
- Aware of marketplace conditions including competitor pricing and operations
Desired Skills & Experience
The candidate has strong sales background in retail, interior design or architectural design and is very detail oriented. A college degree in architecture and interior design is very desirable but not a requirement. A minimum of 5 years of previous managerial and leadership experience is required. Project management experience is essential. Must have great follow-up skills.
