From loyal LOL fans to brand new readers, I welcome you all to the NEW LowerOakLawn.com! After almost a year and a half of delivering you the latest and greatest from the Dallas Design District, we’ve upgraded our site, graduating from a daily blog to a true resource for all things Design District.
There’s lots to see, read and do on the new site, so join me for a quick tour to make sure you don’t miss anything!

Where better to start than on the front page? It’s all the same juicy blog content, just reworked and repackaged so that you can get oh-so many more headlines, events and, of course, photos. You can peruse headlines, search for businesses or scroll through pictures all from the home page!
To read our blog the good old fashioned way, simply click “See More” by daily reads to get a traditional list of all our posts in reverse chronological order.
The stories and photos on the home page will be changed often so check back for new stories, old favorites and guest posts from some of your favorite contributors!
Event Calendar
What would LOL be with out the happy hours, exhibit openings and other exciting events that make this area so flippin’ fun? Our upgraded calendar allows you to see upcoming events in list format or in our fancy new calendar view.
Have an event to add to the list? It’s as easy as filling out this nifty +Submit an Event form!
Business Directory
Last, but certainly not least, is the newly launched Dallas Design District business directory. Containing over 150 businesses, this new tool is the most comprehensive database of design showrooms in the city!
With the help of the amazing Cindy Carradine, design guru and writer extraordinaire, we’ve brought you unique and interesting insight into your favorite Design District showrooms, art galleries and eateries.
Business listings have all the info you’ll need to get the scoop on your favorite Lower Oak Lawn establishments.
We’re still adding businesses and will need your help to keep this buddy up-to-date, so please utilize our Submit an Update and Submit a Business forms to keep us in the loop!
There are lots of other fun new tidbits displayed through out the site, but I’ll leave those for you to find for yourself! Have fun exploring!
